"Buying a house was a spur of the moment for me and my wife, Zeny. We've been renters throughout our married life, back in Quezon City and after we immigrated to Virginia in 2003. We always found a reason not to do it -- we didn't have enough money, we knew so little about buying a home, too many hurdles to jump over.
